Margot Thériault is the host of Four Lights, which draws New Brunswick's venues on one line of straight-line legs, and she signs every page. The guide exists because the province's few venues sit far apart and keep hours that differ by venue and by night.

A drawn host

Margot Thériault is a character created for this guide, not a real person. The drawn figure on its pages is her, and she signs every page. She is never shown playing.

Four Lights is an independent guide. It is not a casino, takes no bets and has no accounts. Paid links appear only on the home page, each marked Ad, and lead to a private online casino site. That partner is not run or licensed by the province, and it is not ALC.ca. Venues, the province and help services never pay this site.

Where she appears

On the home page's first screen, she raises a storm lantern and points down at the Which lights are on tool. Her tag says New Brunswick runs on Atlantic Time. She also points at the strip showing when every casino floor is dark: 3 AM to 10 AM daily.

Each casino page gives her a board with one venue fact; on some, she points at its hours tool. Short notes from her sit on cards beside sections. Her drawing is left off pages about First Nation venues, online play, paid links, help and privacy.

How the facts are checked

Facts on this site were checked on October 7, 2026, against the venues' own pages and official sources. Provincial facts come from the NBLGC, its annual report and the province's gaming pages. Some provincial and Atlantic Lottery pages blocked automated reading that day. Those facts come from Internet Archive copies of the same pages, each keeping its capture date.

Hours are in Atlantic Time. Open and closed states are worked out from the published hours. Holiday hours are not given anywhere on the site, so check them on each venue's own site. Distances are straight lines between OpenStreetMap coordinates, never drive times. Where official pages give different figures, the guide leaves them out, slot machine counts among them.
